Favorite Artists & Museums Links

On this page I'm including a list of links to other web sites that I enjoy. I will also give a brief description of what I like about the site.

For example, here's a link to one of the museums that I look at every day:

www.metmuseum.org

In this web link you can explore many different types of art throughout history.  They have a timeline dating from 20000 B.C. through 1900 A.D.They have a brief photo and explanation of how art transformed throughout history. I find this web site interesting and very helpful.

Here's another link to a museum site that I enjoy looking at:

www.mfa.org

Here is another educational web link to a museum that can be helpful for all you art lovers out there.  I like this link because it has many different art sites to go into, for example, art of europe, art of the americas, art of the ancient world and so forth.

Here's a last and final museum link I also enjoy:

www.witcombe.sbc.edu

This is not really a link to an actual museum, but I'm pretty sure whatever kind of art you may be looking for you will difinitely find it in this weblink. This link has a site index of all the different kinds of art there is out in this world.

In the following three links I will be giving you links to my favorite artists.

www.chrispeters.com

Chris Peters' paintings are about still life paintings. He describes his entire body of work in an attempt to capture true feeling about what he reads. His work reminds us of what money and greed can do to you and somehow lead to death. In other words, money isn't everything, life should be lived one day at a time, that's what some of his paintings are trying to describe.

www.allfamousartists.com

On this web link, you will see a list of most of the famours artists throughout history.  You can learn a whole lot of the artist themselves. The web link provides biography's about the artists and their many work's of ar throughout their career's. At the bottom of their biography you will be directed to another link if you would like to see their work.

www.picasso.com

This link is on Pablo Picasso's art work and biography. This site you will find very helpful if you're very interested on Pablo Picasso's work of art. The web link has several other different likes to connect to if you're looking into buying some of his work or if you just have a curiosity about the artist himself.
